My autumn adventures in NY and Massachusetts

Dear Soul-Sibling,

It's my last day on the East Coast and I thought you might enjoy snippets of my adventures. I fly home today to meet my new car and teach my last round of Wise Circles for 2023, at home near my piano (heart).

Autumn has been wonderful. Full of vibrant colour, celebrations and meaningful work with awesome people along the Hudson River in New York and Massachusetts.

I had the privilege of assisting Laura McKowen with her second in-person retreat for 2023. I had never visited Kripalu Center For Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. What an incredible place and group of women (with two men), swashbuckling truth, seeking a deeper connection with authentic living.

Kenny and I surprised Harvey and Jay with my exact arrival in New City, NY. They were expecting me on Monday when I snuck in the back door Sunday afternoon and quietly waltzed into the kitchen during dinner preparations. Jay yelped, it scared him with pleasure. Harvey giggled and jumped up and down: "Uncle Blue! Uncle Blue!"

Halloween had adjustments since Harvey twisted her ankle jumping from her indoor jungle gym. She was down for a couple days as we enjoyed face painting and made one short appearance in our family costume. Hence the reason she's sitting in a stroller.

Harvey turned 5 years old on November 5th. It's been a joy to be a significant part of her first five years.

Her birthday party was at Catch Air in Nanuet with 22 friends from pre-school and kindergarten. We also made it to The City, with her Meme, to purchase her first American Girl Doll (Julie Albright).

I spent a marvelous fall day in Central Park and explored quaint areas I had never experienced; including Wagner Cove and the Shakespeare Garden. The City has been a consistent presence in my life since college -- a place to walk, wander and integrate the tendrils and themes of My So-Called Blue Life.

Although it's familiar, my farewell to Harvey and her Dads, it's getting more difficult for me now that there's so much more of her.

I've had an incredible year teaching three rounds of my signature offering, WISE CIRCLES.

I recently received two testimonials from October's circle.

Molly:

Alexander is a true gift to this world. He has curated a space that is so perfectly nurturing for the soul at a time when so many are struggling and for that I am beyond grateful! To sign up for this offering is a lovely gift to yourself and a beautiful way to spend time with others who are trying to find light, love and on this often dark and painful journey of life. Caitlin:

If you have the smallest whisper that a Wise Circle is something you may want to do, say yes! My five weeks of spiritual retreat was exactly what I needed in this moment of my life. If you have the smallest whisper that a Wise Circle is something you may want to do, say yes! My five weeks of spiritual retreat was exactly what I needed in this moment of my life. As a busy working parent, intentionally carving out 90 minutes a week was such a gift. The blend of practice labs, writing, active listening and sharing was a beautiful way to tend to the tender parts of my soul. I can't say enough about the beautiful energy and container that Alexander provides to these circles. I hope to practice with Alexander again soon.

I have one seat left for my late-fall Wise Circle, called OM FOR THE HOLIDAZE.

It starts tomorrow and there's still time for you to grab a spot.

I would love for you to join us.

If you need a discount or sliding scale tuition offering, please reach out today.

I'll be in touch often over the next 6 weeks, from the depth of darker days and the light of music from my home and living room.

All my love to your next mindful step!

Yours Bluely,

Alexander
