‘DON’T STOP BELIEVING’

A 53rd Birthday Piano Recital
Featuring Alexander Blue Feather

I'm celebrating 53 by sharing the things that have carried me through another trip around the sun: music, art, friendship, grief, love, big nature, and the quiet practice of paying attention.

I'd love for you to join me.

From my living room piano, I'll perform a summer recital worthy of your presence. Selections from John Batiste and Alexandra Stréliski, along with a handful of other pieces that have found their way into my heart this year. Along the way, I’ll sing and share stories from the trail, reflections on the human experience, and a few surprises. This is a chance to slow down together, listen deeply, laugh a little, and remember what music can do when we make space for it.

As part of the celebration, I'll also be sharing a collection of original watercolor paintings created over the past year. Some will be available to purchase, while others will be given away throughout the evening as birthday gifts to those in attendance.

Whether you've joined me before or this is your first recital, I'm honored you're considering spending the evening with me.

Come as you are.

Bring a favorite fur-baby, light a candle, settle into your most comfortable chair, and let the music carry us for a while.

Deckle-edged (four sides): the irregular, untrimmed edge of handmade paper, often used for ornamental effect in fine books and stationery.

200 lb cold pressed watercolour paper by Two Rivers Paper Company, at East Quay Art Centre in the coastal town of Watchet, West Somerset, UK

Two Rivers hand-makes beautiful rag papers for artists and designers at an ancient watermill deep in the Somerset Countryside.

Two Rivers paper is made by hand and therefore has a unique random surface texture unlike the mechanically even weave of most other branded papers. This also means that there is not a right or wrong side as both sides are identical.
